Grapevine Life Cycle
Vine's Life

Sirio Anfore

Vine has two different biological cycles: the life one and the annual one.

Vine’s life cycle is referred to its entire life-span. Usually, there are different stages in a vine’s ife span. The “childhood” of the wine goes from its plantation till its third year, when the plant can't produce grapes; its “adulthood” starts when the vine reaches its hightest productivity till its “eldearly” years.

The annual growth cycle of grapevines is the process that takes place in the vineyard each year.

Usually, the stages of the annual cycle can be observed within the first year of a vine's life. The amount of time spent at each stage of the growth cycle depends on a number of factors, including chiefly climate (warm or cool) and each grape variety features.
